Serekh (sir-reck) Entertainment Group was created by three individuals , who wanted to make sure the balance of quality hip hop music was preserved, due to the overwhelming "bling" & "jiggy" craze. The music business has changed in recent years, by consolidating its resources to take a strangle hold of their industry. A new sound has emerged, from the west coast. It has been harnassed and promoted by performance, internet and street media.

Devin Penzella, Tyree Dillihay, and Kamau Talbott are co-founders of the independant Los Angeles based record label Serekh Entertainment. The three formed the foundation to present the Hip Hop music coming from Los Angeles with a new sound never heard before from the West Coast. Devin Penzella specializes in economics, marketing, and promotion; Kamau Talbott specializes in journalism and promotion, as well as a Serekh artist himself; Tryee Dillihay specializes in music production and art design.

The ultimate goal for Serekh Entertainment is to produce Hip Hop music that changes and advances the artform and makes Serekh Entertainment one of the premiere companies in the business. Serekh Entertainment plans to carve a niche into the history slate as one of the best on the West Coast, a coast that has been denied its true underground Hip Hop roots, and been ignored in the mainstream by the majors. With a young executive staff and artists that the world will feel, Serekh is destined for success. With more to come, the world is going to witness the Genesis.
